When you submit a case to us, we collect your email address, username, the platform on which the moderation situation occurred, and the server/subreddit where the moderation situation occurred. We use this information to contact you regarding updates on your case and to reference your username when coordinating an investigation with the moderators.

Accessing Personal Information

Users may request access to their personal information by contacting us at fairifymoderation@gmail.com. We will provide a copy of their personal information within 30 days of their request.

We do not use cookies on our website.

Data Retention

We retain case information for three months before it is erased internally; This includes your email address, username, platform, server/subreddit, and case ID. After this period, your personal information is deleted permanently from our records.

Sharing of Personal Information

We do not share your personal information with anyone outside of our organization except in the following circumstances:

If required to do so by law
To our legal counsel and other advisors for the purpose of providing services to us
To the moderators to coordinate an investigation of your case, we only share your username and not your personal information.

We use a strong password and two-factor authentication for our main Fairify account, and we limit access to your personal information to only those volunteers who require it for their job.
